Road Safety Patrol (RSP)
Building Responsible Citizens Through Road Safety Education
The Road Safety Patrol (RSP) programme aims to develop road safety awareness, discipline, leadership, and civic responsibility among students. Through practical learning and guided activities, students understand the importance of following traffic rules and contributing to a safer community.
Objectives of RSP
To create awareness about road safety and traffic regulations.
To develop discipline, responsibility, and leadership qualities.
To educate students about pedestrian safety and safe road-crossing practices.
To encourage respect for traffic signals, road signs, and public safety.
To promote responsible behaviour among students and community members.
Activities and Training
Students participate in road safety awareness activities, demonstrations, rallies, poster-making competitions, and educational sessions, as organised by the school. They learn about traffic signals, road signs, pedestrian crossings, helmet use, seat belts, and the importance of avoiding distractions on the road.
Developing Leadership and Social Responsibility
RSP encourages students to become responsible and safety-conscious citizens. The programme promotes teamwork, confidence, alertness, and a spirit of service while helping students understand their role in creating safer roads.
Our Commitment
At Guru Nanak English High School, we believe that road safety education is an essential part of responsible citizenship. Through RSP activities, we aim to nurture disciplined, informed, and socially responsible students who contribute to the safety and well-being of society.
