At Guru Nanak English High School, co-curricular activities complement classroom learning by encouraging students to explore their talents, discover new interests, and express themselves with confidence. Students participate in a wide range of activities, including debates, elocution, fancy dress, quizzes, Best Out of Waste, rangoli, clay modelling, and origami. These experiences encourage imagination, problem-solving, collaboration, and self-expression while making learning enjoyable and meaningful.

We also take pride in preserving and celebrating our rich cultural heritage. Activities such as Mr. Singh and Miss Kaur competitions, turban-tying competitions, and Shabad competitions help students appreciate Sikh traditions, cultural values, and community spirit.

At Guru Nanak English High School, we believe that sports are an essential part of a child’s overall development. Sports and physical activities promote fitness, mental well-being, discipline, resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Our students are encouraged to participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor sports activities that combine physical fitness with fun and skill development.

Outdoor and recreational activities include football, cricket, dodgeball, kabaddi, skating, and skipping. These activities help improve coordination, agility, endurance, and team spirit.

Indoor games and sports provide opportunities for students to develop concentration, strategic thinking, precision, and coordination through activities such as chess, badminton, table tennis, and other games supported by school facilities.

Through regular participation in sports, students learn the importance of fair play, cooperation, dedication, and respect for others. Our aim is to nurture healthy, confident, and disciplined individuals who carry the values of teamwork and perseverance beyond the playground.
